I like how it needed to be explained that a joke won an award as if to say "This joke is funny!"

That girl in the video made teenage me feel things, regardless of how not pretty she was.

I get that. 16-year-olds do stupid things, especially when nobody teaches them that sexuality isn't something to give away to just anybody. But what's done is done, and one would THINK that if the boyfriend were put away, the source of the images would stop...

One thing I've noticed in that article: She talks about spending hours looking through a shit-ton of subreddits looking for the underage pics of herself that are posted by her ex-boyfriend, but NOT ONCE does she talk about reporting the ex-boyfriend to the police for distribution of child pornography. She places the blame solely at the feet of reddit (because it's a bigger payday for her? because she still loves her ex-bf? Who knows?)

Unless you ban VPNs and TOR on the site, you can't stop that from happening unfortunately.

The other option is tying accounts to phone numbers, but not many people want to do that, especially on reddit, where throwaways and novelty accounts are common.

That would require his residing in Ontario. I wouldn't blame him in the least for not wanting to do that.

She's not obese. Though apparently she doesn't eat fruits and vegetables. But isn't that most 20-somethings?

Only the stupid ones, who think they're "asserting independence" by eating like children as soon as they leave home. If she keeps that diet up, if she's not obese now, she soon will be. (Even people on the Atkins diet which is heavily meat-based will have vegetables.)

Health Canada has initiated a plan to authorize boosters without the same extensive testing required to approve the original vaccines

Oh yeah, that extensive testing.

People tend not to go to hospitals for a lot of reasons. Number one? The wait. People have to weigh the worth of using an entire working day. I sure don't go to hospitals unless it's absolutely fucking dire, and even then I'll try to hold off until it's a weekend.

Number two? While you're waiting, there are a shit ton of other sick people waiting with you. For all the good hospitals do, they're pretty efficient at spreading disease as well. If someone isn't sure whether or not they have covid, why risk catching it or something even worse, like norovirus?

and not watch most things with a black main character.

I've stopped watching television altogether. Haven't for a couple of years now.

I've been to Halifax once. Everyone was incredibly friendly there. Not sure what your obsession with donairs was though. They were on every corner.

It also notes that government actions are subject to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the Canadian Bill of Rights.

Top fucking kek.

Meanwhile, Ontario is probably looking into biometric shit.

The Ben & Jerry's ice cream and the Fudgee-O Double Stuf I bought last night is essential though even though this stuff makes you vulnerable to COVID (as well as Type II diabetes, heart disease, stroke, cancer, etc.) if you don't eat it in moderation. 4/20 Munchies are essential. The cheesecake is essential in Doug Ford's Ontario but I didn't get any.

Don't say this so loudly. The Ontario government has so much power already, dictating what we're allowed to eat might be next.

There are two main reasons that people believe a lie.
One is because they WANT it to be true.
One is because they are afraid it's true.

They are absolutely afraid it's true, and conversely, they'll accuse you of wanting your version of events to be true. The only ego is on the part of the government, who in the face of more studies, won't change their legislation. It would mean admitting they were wrong.

If people want the vaccine that badly, all they have to do is tell the people they're whores. It won't be far from the truth.
