There have been 19 deaths in children. They don't publish data on the number of those that were already on the verge of death.
This has been identified as a 0.002% risk, for most healthy kids the risk would of course be much much lower.

I agree it's safe to assume most or all of them were vulnerable, but not necessarily "on the verge of death".

Not everyone in the schools is healthy. Vulnerable children attend school too, and some of the adults are vulnerable. It's not hard to imagine that's how at least some of the the child deaths occurred. Vaccinating 5 to 11 year olds will reduce the risk to vulnerable children as well as the adult staff in the schools.
The same Figure 7 mentioned above shows that over 11,000 Canadians under 80 have died of covid, and over 5,000 of them were under 70.

Yes, that was my point. 317 people under 39 died with covid in Canada (that’s almost two full years of data now). That’s statistically insignificant. If you’re going to tell me that it is significant, first tell me how many Canadians under 39 die of the flu each year and then compare it to people that die with covid.
My point was that OP presenting the NACI recommendation to use Pfizer instead of Moderna as proof that the vaccines were "poison" was pretty silly given that only 1.5 in 100,000 injections leads to a Myocarditis event of any kind, and that fatalities are one in a million.

A friend of mine had a tooth go rotten and leach toxic crud into his bloodstream that infected his heart. He had swelling of the heart lining (pericarditis) and he almost died. He is now on blood thinners for LIFE.

Your friend had a life-threatening condition. That's different from the risk of heart damage from the covid vaccines, which is very rare and almost never fatal.

This discussion is about mild infection, not scarring of the heart muscle.
When a doctor at Western University Hospital splits open a person's chest to work on their heart extreme care has to be taken to avoid exposing them to a wide variety of infectious agents.
That is a far different scenario than the 0.00015% chance that anything at all will happen with covid, let alone the one in a million chance someone will die from myocarditis.

If it's a tempest in a tea pot then there shouldn't be a recommendation. Other countries have banned the use of moderna because it's dangerous to young men. Your poison vaccine is not so safe after all is it?

Everything I've read - and I can't read all of it - says that some countries are limiting its use in young people only, but it's usually because they have an adequate supply of another vaccine. I doubt you'll find anywhere that has "banned" its use if there's nothing else available for young people.

Based on new evidence, and in order to further minimize the rare risk of adolescents and young adults experiencing myocarditis and/or pericarditis after receiving a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine, NACI now recommends: Pfizer-BioNTech Comirnaty mRNA vaccine (30 mcg) is preferred in adolescents and young adults 12 to 29 years of age."
In other words use Pfizer if you have it but Moderna will do if you don't.
