Likewise, fewer than 1% of vaccine adverse events are reported. ... CDC consultants responsible for receiving data were no longer responsive to our multiple requests to proceed with testing and evaluation.
I skimmed and looked into one of his more interesting data points:
For example, in the Pfizer trial, you were much more likely to die if you got the vaccine than if you got the placebo. They simply forgot to mention that in the abstract of the paper
Where is he concluding his point from? I can't find it. I see instead:
During the blinded, placebo-controlled period, 15 participants in the BNT162b2 group and 14 in the placebo group died; during the open-label period, 3 participants in the BNT162b2 group and 2 in the original placebo group who received BNT162b2 after unblinding died. None of these deaths were considered to be related to BNT162b2 by the investigators. Causes of death were balanced between BNT162b2 and placebo groups.
BNT162b2 had a favorable safety profile and was highly efficacious in preventing Covid-19.
Folks, let's just not accept what a Substack article tells us.
So our new best estimate of the number of “excess deaths” caused by the vaccine is 388,000
If you're going to jump in and say "well read his next article he linked": okay, let's do that.
Further, nine vaccine recipients had died from cardiovascular events such as heart attacks or strokes, compared to six placebo recipients who died of those causes. The imbalance was small but notable, considering that regulators worldwide had found that the Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines were linked to heart inflammation in young men.
9 vs 6 out of ~22 000 is not statistically significantly, (p-value > 0.05), so why bring this up? Because it fits a narrative.
At best, the results suggested that the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine - now pushed on nearly a billion people worldwide at a cost of tens of billions of dollars and ruinous and worsening civil liberties restrictions - did nothing to reduce overall deaths.
I love this. 14 deaths in placebo, and 15 in vax group. Not significant! However, this is expected. If I randomly choose an American, there's a ~0.025% chance they died in the time period of the study: 79 604 died / 329.5M population. In a sample of 44k (the original studies population), I would expect that 44k * 0.025% ~= 10 ppl to die from Covid in that time period. This is a number too low to be reliably detected with a population of only 44k (it's noisy!). What do I mean by that? Let's say 15 die of natural causes in both groups, and an additional 10 died of Covid in the control group. So 15 vs 25. This is not significant! We would need larger sample sizes, or longer period of observation, to detect a difference in deaths.
And it's a WordPress blog. One guy who builds websites for a living and has a hobby kibitzing about data on the side.

They're doing way less than the damage the virus is doing. Up to Dec 17 2021 there were 64,157,951vaccine injections in Canada. Only 6,829 (0 .011%) reported a serious adverse reaction of any kind - that is, something that required immediate medical attention or hospitalization. And not very many resulted in a fatality, and a lot of those fatalities, remember, were in old people with co-morbidities. I'm just pointing that out for the people who claim covid deaths in old people with comorbidities are OK, so they don't have to be concerned about any caused by vaccines.
This is not a VAERS estimate, of course. It's a claim that the VAERS numbers are invalid. In making this analysis I'm not seeing where they are differentiating between vaccines, or between one shot or two. Plus they seem to be looking at deaths within 14 days of the vaccine.
So they are using a different counting system, since the "official" numbers assume a person isn't fully vaccinated until 14 days have passed since the final vaccination.
They can count any way they want to, of course, They're choosing to ignore the fact that a death within 14 days could be from the virus.
And with the VAERS data the individual brands and lots of vaccines are captured
But it's ignored in your web-designer friend's post. And by ignoring the 14-days-for-full-effectiveness factor he is automatically rolling any covid deaths into his death-from-injection fable.
At this point in time, about covid, science is speaking pretty clearly. You have to go way out in the Internet weeds - like you do - to argue with it.

You appear to be suggesting that all the science from the best institutions in the world be disregarded because one of millions of available pharmaceuticals is being reevaluated.
Yes, they're out to kill us all!!!! OMG!!! DAE evil death vaxx??
I've never been interested in medicine or health before the pandemic and get all my information from random fucking blogs and THIS is the HILL I SHALL DIE ON!!!
Because the average person doesn't care about it, even now.
A side effect of Penicillin, the most common antibiotic, is for example Myocarditis. And yet, no one is going around warning people that Penicillin is killing people. Even your doctor doesn't mention it when they give it to you.
It's also truly rare for the Covid vaccine. In Ontario they reported about 600 cases of myocarditis after getting the jab. They administered over 24 million doses in Ontario, the vast majority of them were mRNA vaccines. 600 cases in 24 million is extremely rare.

How about those flu numbers, eh? Where was all the outrage then?

Nonsense. This is from 2013: "The first time the body encounters a germ, it can take several days to make and use all the germ-fighting tools needed to get over the infection." https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/hcp/patient-ed/conversations/downloads/vacsafe-understand-bw-office.pdf

Everyone has heard it before. Myocarditis isn't something new.
Probably people rushing to use it as an excuse to not get the jab ¯_(ツ)_/¯
