while I support religious freedom, conservatives do not and they're bound to push their religious christian ideology onto everyone, their idea of community is you're either with the church or against it, either pray and bow down before god or suffer is their belief which I do not support one bit
Policy-wise? Mass immigration. The single-issue anti-immigrant voters will stick with the PPC. That'll return the PPC's vote share back the (approx) 1.6% that it was before covid.
Cons are pro-immigration in terms of strict value-based immigrants.
Even Harper admitted that the Canadian immigration system (not the refugee system) was designed to bring in Conservative voters.
Immigrants to Canada are skilled, have money, and buy property.
I'm against him running, but I won't cry if he wins.
I just don't think an attack dog like him is going to be so good on the defense.
Prior to this, he could attack easy targets from the leisure of his comfy seat in parliament. Now, he's going to have to defend himself. I've never seen a Polvierre on the back foot.
I absolutely loathe this guy, so he's perfect for the Conservatives. It's not even so much his policies it's just I think he's a pompous asshole; mostly because he's a pompous asshole.
I'd rather live in Yemen than have him as the PM. 🤣
I agree with pretty much all of that. I've seen people who I thought I could trust get into office and then just completely sell out, like AOC and Bernie down in the states. All they do now is sheep herd people into the Democratic party. I'm sure you have similar issues with politicians on the right claiming they're going to support Conservative policies and then get in and do nothing.
You think Polievere will be one of those if he wins?
Liberals can't stand Pierre because they're terrified of him.
I see this same thing on liberal-dominated forums. They want anybody other than Pierre to lead CPC because Pierre is smooth as fuck and that terrifies them.
I like Pierre Poilievre. I have actually met him in person years ago, when he was campaigning in Nepean. I believe it was for city council. I have contacted him on Twitter and via email. He responds. I do think he's the best show going, in terms of leadership. He's a hard worker, has common sense, and is a real family man.
My concern is with the Deep State and their network of crooked intelligence perps, hategroup members, informants, crooked cops, crooked doctors, crooked lawyers, crooked judges and other people who slander and persecute genuine activists, whistleblowers, people of integrity. They seem to be embedded within every fibre of our society. They need to be rooted out, or else Canada will never be free. They are not concerned with who the current person in power is. They operate independently and secretly.
Pierre Poilievre needs to take a firm stance against the Deep State. He needs to watch the people around him that may try to screw him over. Politics is a dirty and dangerous game. Hopefully good will prevail. Evil has been winning for far too long. As long as the Deep State exists, Canada will not be free.
FINALLY! YESSS!
Don’t fuck this up CPC

Just bought a 5 year CPC membership. I'm so pumped right now. Haven't felt this optimistic about the party's future since Harper came to power.
If PP wins, what would differentiate CPC and the PPC?

This party loves a winner.
Let's do this, Pierre. Always speak the truth to Canadians with no apologies. We've had enough apologies to last us a lifetime.
About fucking time.
The CPC is full of WEF stooges, doesn't matter if Poilievre is or isn't one too. They will do what the WEF wants.
Good observation from Keean Bexte. Poilievre has a copy of 1984 in the background. There's no way that's by accident.
And Ceasar
Nah he reads books like "What is this dog doing to this other dog, Charlie Brown?"
I saw that too, interesting.
DONT FUCK IT UP Pierre, don't.

Pierre needs to start a hashtag #WheresJustin

Replace smooth with arrogant and I'd agree. 🤣

This guy is so much better than OToole. I voted PPC and it looks like I will likely be voting CPC next. Finally hope to get this fool out of office.
Is there a list of people who have attended the young leaders program? Is he on it? Did he attend?
