My bro was not happy with my not taking it, most of my friends have it, less than half my office went for the jabs. My bro and I don't talk much anyway but it's so silent. We didn't discuss the shots at home except for me not wanting dad to get it, so the family took him over while I was at work.

I work in IT as well, many clients don't care about masks indoors. My office papered up the glass by the hallway side due to nosey heath inspectors

It's like this weird teacher i had who'd do a collective hold of everyone until the guilty confessed to the deed , but it was also stupid because it turned out she misplaced the keys herself which are easily replaceable and can open any of the display cabinets across the school. Imagine the adult version of that instead with 'oh well everyone locked down shame you went be vaccinated ' or they ration food. A Vancouver company a friend of mine is at still has people working from home and they did a vote that only the vaccinated can start returning to the office after the pandemic. Even though private opinion was allowed at my workplace coworkers ask me when is my appointment to be vaccinated I say no appointment , oh not getting the jab. My friend used to push me that if I don't get it I can't travel , or if I die so what, but now let's me be.

Ah thanks for all the info. We had to email our boss if we don't have plans to get the shot because of future planning on how client offices may be. I work in IT usually am in the office.

A friend of mine was at this mandatory seminar online at work about how white men are holding minorities from progressing , attendees were super bored and cringing at it, pity no material sent out about where this is from. Richmond BC for that place.

Sucks, it's like a weird greeting too. Some old family friends video called from another country and asked if we had our vaccines. I go to the dentist and get a hi, have you had your vaccination yet? I've just been going with no, or that if i can't travel without them I'm staying home.

That's what happened with my parents:( my dad is far along with dementia and my mom felt bullied into it because she works at a school. The doctor really pressed going through too. I'm still standing on no but my friend who didn't want to says he'll have to do he can travel for a family wedding.

It's nuts. I work in Vancouver, will see the occasional no helmet cyclist wearing a mask or the driver with a mask and face shield. And plenty of extinction rebellion posters appearing on street poles or old buildings

I'm in Vancouver, the boss reminds us it's not mandatory. Some of my friends don't even ask if , now it's when. I feel the media really pushes it here with ads/talks about doing their part to protect others with the shot and boo on you causing more problems with vaccine hesitancy. Barf.
