I couldn’t finish the clip. It’s simply amazing how we’ve left a bunch of fugly, deranged, sexual deviants take control of the narrative. What they are doing to kids is criminal. And these and other indoctrinated kids are future voters. Run for the hills!!

Well, I think being polite is important initially. If it is not reciprocated then whether one should continue to be polite should be considered. But in my experience being polite even in the face of obnoxiously rude people can disarm the rude person. There is never a benefit from not being polite initially.

Submissive? I advise against this completely. Never be submissive. And never mistake courtesy or politeness for submissiveness.

The guy who made this is a douche. There is no reason for this type of behaviour. It accomplishes nothing except to put on full display the guy’s stupidity. If the point is he has the right to not wear a mask then the store’s right to have customers wear masks is just as valid. He may not like it but rights are rights and one person’s rights don’t trump another person’s.

Well it evokes images of something up a male’s butt - maybe inadvertently appropriate!

It is really sickening how grown adults who should know better grovel to the mob. There is nothing to apologize for. It’s food Anyone can make it or eat it. The retard level of Canadians keeps getting worse.

How can people seriously get so offended over nothing? It’s so ridiculous.

Mtlheavy 7 points ago +7 / -0

Don’t take this the wrong way - but the idea that people actually want to fix the problem is retarded.

It’s almost humorous but it’s sad. It’s not only Boomers. It’s Gen X, millennials and Gen Z. So many people frightened by the daily fear porn. It’s hard to talk to friends and family - I risk major disagreements over this dumb virus. And as you allude to, everyone knows one anecdote about some young person who died (without specifics) and uses that story to justify the fear and lockdowns.

Fair comments. A couple of notes: the lockdowns are to protect the silent Gen more than boomers. (And the funny part is many leaders in Canada are Gen X.)

About Ford - people having voted for him is not the reason you are locked down. Most political leaders are feeling the pressure to lockdown. Almost no one has the guts to push back. If it wasn’t Ford it would be someone else locking down Ontario.

Indeed. And all other politicians and the press give him a pass. And they talk about white privilege!

I hope not. I’m on a flight out in 13 days! I’m concerned they stop flying.

The hate crimes are in the criminal code, not the charter. But your point re the uselessness of the Charter, with its section 1 limitations and the notwithstanding clause, is well taken.

Libel laws in the US are not a good example to follow. Ever since NY Times v Sullivan it is too onerous for a plaintiff to prove a case. Canada’s laws may be a little lax but the US legal regime for libel is terrible, especially for public figures.

Well, JT has to come up with cash somewhere to pay for votes for the next election.

So what does Build Back Better mean? It’s plastered everywhere when the talk. Will they refer to this as a conspiracy as well?

Trannies and LbGT types are violent everywhere.

Different. São Paulo is the more ‘serious’ city, it’s the commercial and economic hub. Rio is also an important city but has more of a reply for fun. Both great places. And Very inexpensive now.

Santa Catarina. I haven’t been there but apparently it and Curitiba in the south are very nice.

One of my favorite cities. Hard to explain. Brazil is a fun place. The city is big! Great buzz and vibes. Very cosmopolitan. Super people. Fantastic food. No PC bullshit - girls are girls and guys are guys. Great restaurants and lots of things to do. Fantastic weather and beaches. Good place to explore parts of South America from. It has a reputation for crime but it’s like any other place - learn what’s safe and what isn’t. Speaking a little Portuguese is a plus - and it’s not too hard to pick up.

I’m scheduled to fly to South America from Toronto in 2 weeks. I hope all this lockdown stuff doesn’t affect travel. I need a break from Covid and cold weather.

Lol. I keep myself safe. I would never rely on “they”. If you hope “they” will keep you safe you are out of your mind.

That guy doesn’t look like a boomer. He’s too young. Must be Gen x.

This is a little old but confirms that testing positive for Sars-cov-2 is not the same as having Covid19. The former is a virus, which apparently many people test positive for. (And many falsely test positive for.). The latter is the disease. Not everyone with the virus develops the disease. Yet the media purposely fails to make this important distinction. Positive tests, whether accurate or not, are reported as cases. Nonsense.
