They must be vying for some free money so they make it look worse.

All you need to know about the charter is in section 1. A document that is grandly named the Charter of Rights and Freedoms has as it first section a statement that the “rights” set forth therein are limited. Joke!

Was it in fact a mass grave? Or were children buried in unmarked graves over a period of 80 or 90 years? There is a huge difference between the two.

I’m not in Canada. Sorry for being unclear.

But even Canada has restrictions on travel between provinces. Not tests though - yet. The Charter guarantees the right to live and work in any province. There is no right to simply visit.

I’ve had 5 PCR tests since early April - required for international travel. I’ve not tried a fake one because the risk of being denied entry to a country after flying 24 hours is simply not worth it.

That said, traveling between provinces where I am requires at least a negative antigen test, which cost about $20. Even so, fake negative certs are available on short notice for about $10 for those who don’t like being poked.

The law and the application thereof are neither inconsistent nor arbitrary. It just seems that way. Authorities are consistently singling out Christians. The application of the law is unequal for sure. But this is not arbitrary. Could make an interesting charter argument.

I was taught by boomers. We had no such nonsense in our schools. Most of the silliness taught in the past twenty - thirty years has been taught by Gen X and Gen Y teachers.

Bitter leftist hags would never have a happy relationship so why listen to them? I do all sorts of things for my wife and vice versa. That’s what a normal relationship is. It’s not about keeping score and complaining something is sexist. Dummies.

Not to most millennials and zoomers! They will gladly give up individual rights for the “greater good of the community.” They are a product of the leftist run public “education” system in Canada and the US.

Much better than the media makes them out to be.

Just the opposite! For centuries people have reclaimed land from the sea: Holland, the US, Singapore, etc. Rising sea levels are simply not a threat. This is just more nonsense that climate alarmists hope the ignorant sheep won’t notice.

The thing with Quebec is they are much less tolerant of this sort of crap. So while Quebec screws up by encouraging immigration from former French colonies, mostly African and also Haiti, they are less tolerant of this nonsense. (Policies that would be considered ‘racist’ by the MSM (and others) if implemented in English Canada are simply considered policies required to protect culture in Quebec.)

I’m a climate refugee. I left Canada to live in a warm country.

There is no such thing as a climate change refugee. It’s another made up concept intended to legitimize additional immigration to Canada from developing countries.

Is it my imagination or is ‘rapper’ a very common profession among black criminal suspects and victims? It seems there is a disproportionately high number of rappers among suspects and victims every time I read a story about crime involving blacks in urban Toronto. Is this a default job? Or is it simply what unemployed youth claim they do?

It fits perfectly. Johnson is a fake conservative and so is O’Toole.

Smart guy. Governor of the third largest state. Conservative. Yale BA and Harvard JD - excellent academic creds. US Navy. House of Representatives. I’d like to have a beer with him - he seems like a very solid guy.

I don’t care too much about politics. I care more for economics and having a strong economy. I favor private enterprise over government involvement in the economy. I suggested nothing that leaned toward big or small government outside the economic area. In terms of business, I’d prefer the government make doing business as easy as possible. Promote real competition. That it cut red tape and taxes for businesses. That it let businesses run their show with little regulation. Follow the system used in parts of Scandinavia, Hong Kong, Singapore, among others. For other areas I don’t care if government is big.

But if the vaccination is effective then only the unvaccinated should be getting sick. And if they all get sick and die won’t the vaccinated people be happy?

5
Mtlheavy 5 points ago +5 / -0

Absolutely correct. Eliminate the red tape, simplify procedures, adopt competitive tax rates, try to eliminate provincial trade barriers, get out of the way and let businesses invest and grow.

This is terrible. The police are choosing who can exercise their lawful constitutional rights based on skin color or cause - the charter rights to free expression and peaceful assembly are not limited by ethnicity of the speaker or participant or by the nature of the cause. Permitting one group while allowing others is a clear violation of rights. But no judge in Canada would have the balls to make this ruling. Canadian institutions are weak.

Note that he said they have been hit by the recession, not by covid. So everyone stops tourism, locks up countries even if not affected by covid and then claim covid is killing them. Regardless, giving money to Africa is ridiculous. Too corrupt.
