There must be some fucking angry Democratic Congressman in that party right now.
I'm sure they're all just about ready to kill her. They no longer are in control of their House and I'm sure that many of them are blaming her and "the squad" for taking up all the headlines and making the party look like crazy hippies.
She didn't even wait until she'd been in Congress for 2 years before touting straight communism. Brilliant ideas like the Green New Deal, abolishing ICE and federally-mandated jobs for all were all over the headlines along with her "the squad" group featuring a bunch of "diverse," inexperienced harpies talking about how much the US is a horrible, racist and sexist country.
Great shit to be doing as a first-term congressman. I'm sure the party loved it.
Pelosi may even be done as speaker thanks to AOC's shit.
I'm sure she's taking some serious heat at the moment. I'm not surprised she's crying about it in the newspapers and threatening to quit politics.
She'd be well-advised to do so.

Just remember, for the nightmare US Civil war scenario to play out properly the left has to offend the Trump supporters in a way that actually pisses them off to the point where they'll oppose the riots.
That didn't happen during George Floyd, when there was mass rioting and mass looting in response to a recivist gay porn star who once broke into a pregnant woman's home and put a loaded gun on her belly, overdosing on fentanyl while in police custody. Those "activists" tore down Teddy Roosevelt statues because he was on a horse while the "ethnic" Roughriders were on foot because they thought that was racist.
Teddy Roosevelt of all people! The Americans worship that guy and yet the BLM mobs tore down those statues without any opposition.
This is the period where they encourage the TV watchers to rile up the Trump supporters to the point of utter hatred. Where the media convinces the leftists to dance on Trump's grave and promise severe retribution for anyone who dared to say that he was a B+ level President in a country whose President generally gets a C- at best.
The American media seems to be doing its best to make anyone who even admitted that Trump was a decent President online should feel threatened by a Biden Presidency to the point where they have a very real idea that they could be blacklisted, targeted and end up homeless.
That's when those people may actually be pissed off to the point where they respond to a riot with shocking violence.
We all saw the doomsday scenario being talked about in the media, even the CBC was talking about it. It went as follows, Trump wins on election night but nothing is called, then the mail-in votes come in and they're for Biden by a preposterous margin and he declares victory, then the recounts obliterate his lead and Trump is declared the winner by the Supreme Court.
That is what is supposed to lead to the United States descending into civil war. They need to righties to stop trusting the government and fight back violently. This is just the phase where they convince the lefties to piss them off and threaten them with dire retaliation once Biden takes power would be all it would take to convince a few Trump supporters to come out with anger in their hearts against the people who mocked them and a fair number of Trump supporters are army-trained.
I say this as a man who lost half his great-uncles because the useless British officers thought that machine guns could be treated like cannons, and their officers insisted that they should walk through what they considered to be nothing more than grape shot with the idea that discipline and the volley would win out; but it would take 20 men with grandfathered machine guns to annihilate 60,000 protesters if the leftist went into serious riot mode and small collection of lunatics were so annoyed that they set up an ambush.
This isn't good. Even Canadian media was talking about the worst-case scenario from the globalist simulations and we're seeing it play out in real time.
I legitimately fear what will happen once this farce of an election is overturned and the riots start.
I just hope that Trump gets ahead of it quickly and shuts it down, because if he doesn't then shit gets bad. The United States cannot afford having both sides of the political equation being ready to kill and it's rapidly coming to that point.
Ah, China.

Don't worry, he's decided to reach across the aisle and have a former Republican Vice-President as a foreign policy advisor.
Good old Dick Cheney's back. I really miss that guy being involved, he was awesome.
I actually can't believe that was the first thing that CNN announced about the new regime. That was the first thing that cunt did after declaring victory, which was actually kind of shrewd because he wanted to deprive Trump of the Neo-cons' support then bringing in Dick fucking Cheney would be a great way to do it.
US politics, eh? Who would have thought that theirs would have proven to be even dirtier than ours in a year that smashed all Canadian records for corruption by the distance of the Pacific Railway?
Dick fucking Cheney. Fuck me.

Speaking of which, how long is that fucking song going to be a thing?
Some gay dress-up band sings a song about how much buggery you can find at the Y far before I was born.
Trudeau's mother used to do cocaine to that song then go dance at Studio 54 for fuck's sake and we still hear it constantly to this very date.
I hate that song. It's the most annoying song on the planet yet it never goes away, nor does the stupid fucking dance that goes along with it.
I just know that someday I'll be senior in a nursing home being encouraged to dance along with it as a part of my "rec time."
Fuck that goddamn song.

I don't think this "win" will stand for a second but I will say this about Trump.
The only realistic thing about this election was that his numbers were way down with one particular demographic, and only one particular demographic.
That would be white men.
For the sexist, racist president he certainly was far more pre-occupied with minorities and women than he was with the people who voted for him.
If I was going to think about Trump for the past two years, I'd think of him meeting with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian and enacting prison reform. Him reacting to BLM riots by promising 500 billion in investments for black people. Meeting with Ice Cube, Little Wayne, and other scumbags.
The man has been more dedicated to feminism than Trudeau, not with his words but with his actions. He's had more women in prominent positions than anyone in US history.
He massively increased his share of the black and latino voters, as well as women but there was one group, and only one group where his numbers dropped and they dropped by a massive 5 points.
In politics, as in life it's important to dance with the girl you brought.
Although this shitshow of an election is nowhere near being done at this point. This is just when it gets interesting.

porkpiesfromarat 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah, that's kind of the point.
Look at how the lefties are behaving at the "news" that Biden won. They're dancing, celebrating, putting together blacklists and promising to punish anyone who dared to support Trump (which is even being done by members of "the Squad," actual congressmen are promising revenge on people for supporting Trump.)
If you were China, how would you go about setting off civil war in the States? Would there be any way better to do it than by deeply dividing the country with their media and then rigging the voting to make it so that Trump would win on election night, then Biden would magically overturn those numbers with a massive, preposterous number of mail-in votes? All for the same candidate and all designed to be thrown out by the recount?
They are headed straight towards bigger riots than George Floyd at this point if not outright civil war.
Co-incidentally, it's the worst case scenario prediction from all simulations which means that anyone wanting to plunge the States into anarchy wouldn't have been trying to rig the election in a way that wouldn't be discovered, they'd be trying to rig the election in a way that would be discovered.

Rage Against the Machine has always been massively for communism and "affirmative racial justice."
Not to a small degree either. It's basically their entire schtick. They've been going around waving communist flags, while wearing shirts with communist icons, and singing about communism.
That "fuck you I won't do what you tell me" line refers to perceived racists and fascists and that the government and police forces are heavily infiltrated by klan members.
Which of course, was a serious theme in the rest of the media at the time. Rage Against the Machine was just as much of a corporate band as Backstreet Boys or N'Sync.
Say what you want about boy bands and teenie-pop but at least they don't pretend to be agents of social change; singing about uprisings in the name of "ending fascism" and the joys of communism while making millions.
90's left-wing "socially-conscious" bands were just as cringy as 80's left-wing socially conscious bands. Listen to a Rage album today if you don't believe me, it's an experience every bit as awkward as watching the "do they know it's Christmas" celebrity charity song video.
The 90s left is the same as today's left, their aim has always been "massive, overwhelming social control to save us from the bad people" and by "bad people" they've always defined that as those who engage in wrong-think, and disagree with their socially-reinforced opinions.
Especially Rage Against the Machine. It's literally the only thing they sing about.

None of this was meant to happen.
It was supposed to be a slow, minor overturning of an election with low-turnout, where small leads evaporated. Not an immediate shutdown, throwing out election observers and hundreds of thousands of votes all for the same candidate showing up.
The turnout and volume of votes made it so that the vote stuffing had to be entirely one-sided, as they were already in preposterous turnout territory at that point.
It's incredible to watch.

There's two kinds of weirdo, one that's just slightly interesting people who use the term ironically to describe themselves.
The other, is an actual weirdo which is what I meant. That's the unwashed, unkempt person who you'd suspect of sniffing bus seats.
Sorry for the confusion.

All I have to say is that I've spent most of my life knowing that at some point some loser would go on a rampage and kill a bunch of people with a fucking katana he'd bought at the mall.
The rural French thing caught me by surprise, I must admit. I would have been 99% sure that any of them would have access to serious firepower but there is a level of crazy that you can reach where not even the natives will sell you a gun.
That's the level of crazy where you can only buy weapons at the flea market, which means a $75 katana but don't think that won't do some damage when you're going on a bizarre, costume-induced Hallowe'en rampage.
Did anyone else see the censored videos? The guy was in full makeup and costume, ranting like a schizophrenic in an almost incomprehensible joual, dragging the tip of his katana on the pavement in a manner that he'd learned from movies.
Hollywood is poison.

The funny thing is that it appears that the DNC had predicted that turnout would be down due to the pandemic, which meant that their "additional votes" pushed the numbers into territory that most sane people would consider to be preposterous.
With all the skullduggery, and suspicious votes included most elections in North American get 45% of the eligible voters to even bother in a bad year, and 65% in a contentious year.
With the rona one would have expected eligible voter rates to be lower, which would mean that the fake ballots would have been a strategy that would have been plausible.
If US voting rates were around 40%, as expected then the vote-stuffing would have ended up with a blue wave and Biden riding to a 7-points victory in a massive repudiation of Trumpism.
Instead it's ended up with ridings where 85-95% of the eligible voters voted as the voting rates were much higher than expected, so the vote-stuffing pushed the turnout into unbelievable territory.
Although I would find it amusing if the United States' first woman President was an unlikeable cunt who kept an exonerated man who was wrongfully convicted of murder in jail for the sake of her political career, and who wasn't even elected the same as our first woman Prime Minister.

Why am I not surprised?
So let's go through this from left to right.
First up, we have the try-hard chick who goes way too far on the feminism thing and whose only political issue is abortion, and who has been on birth control since she was 14 yet has never even had sex. You see that haircut, that stuffed "funny left shark from Katy Perry's Superbowl Halftime Show?" The weird purple decorations everywhere?
Women bully women in ways that men cannot even imagine. The same goes for the reasons, but don't forget that the haircut, the nose-ring, and the godawful purple apartment were all cheered by her "friends."
It goes downhill from there.
Then we have the absolute pervert who went tranny solely because it would grant him access to the women's washroom; who apparently is a cat-kin or whatever because what else could make someone like that even worse?
Worse than that though, is the 500 lb wanna be slut with brightly dyed hair. The kind of woman who you meet through friends, makes you add her on instagram and then you have to look at that hippo's idea of a hot photo when you're taking a shit.
Even worse though, the worst photo of them all belongs to the guy.
That's where things get sad.
That's the fucker who beta-orbits those women (to the point where he'd publicly donate a lot of money to the "woman" for surgery; he may even give the "woman" money for a lawyer to sue for some injustice if it meant attention from either buzzcut or little-mermaid-haired fatso.)
Look at the poor cunt. His hair hasn't been washed in a week, he hasn't shaved in a week either and he's wearing a filthy hoodie.
You know what kind of guy a bald-headed angry feminist or an obese little mermaid would have as a beta-orbiter? The kind of guy who would put that kind of woman on a pedestal?
That's the guy. That right there.
It's just fucking sad.

I actually believe that picture is real.
That really has been the problem with reddit though in recent years.
Imagine going to a party and seeing those people there. How long would it take you to leave?
Now imagine the same thing, but this time you're blindfolded and can't see the people. How much longer would it take you to leave? 3 minutes? 4?
It's the same as facebook, twitter, and basically any other form of social media. The weirdos take over and no one wants to hang out with weirdos.

It's absolutely shocking.
In what's supposed to be the free-est country on earth their entire media, and big tech companies, political class are working together to subvert an election and to make things worse, when that didn't work it appears they are outright conspiring to invalidate its result.
They say that country isn't hostile to immigrants but the second they have a President with an ancestor who didn't emigrate there on the Mayflower this is the kind of shit that happens.

I honestly have no idea, all I remember is that the strippers were appalling and the beer tasted of dirty lines.
Not that I don't respect that kind of thing.

There used to be cheap rooming houses there, and easy-to-obtain low-wage jobs.
Those have all gone to the TFW program these days.
The weird thing is that the convicts who went to Barrie, actually wanted to straighten up and got a minimum wage job and a 90 grand house, and who actually held onto it will be millionaires within the next 10 years.
Ah, the benefits of rampant immigration.

3
porkpiesfromarat 3 points ago +3 / -0

Traditionally, that's been very true. It used to be a very cheap, very scummy town with cheap places to live, cheap beer and the third dirtiest strip club I've ever seen.
Thanks to the Toronto housing prices boom though, prices are rising so one would have to wonder how many of them are ending up on the streets there, these days.

This is just fucking chaos at this point.
I've never seen anything like it. South American elections are bastions of integrity compared to what's going on in the States this year.
At least it's something for us all to talk about until January when the fucking thing is finally resolved. Fuck me.

The funny thing about that number is the immigration industry (resettlement services and all the requisite bureaucrats) costs around $50 billion a year.
We actually could have paid for everything by pausing immigration for the pandemic and laying off all the workers.
As happens to every other industry during a downturn, apart from the people who work for the government.
Instead we've just more-than-doubled what was already an upsetting amount of debt and invested a very small amount of it within the country; the rest of which was blown for International prestige.
Say what you want about the UBI commies but their dream could be realized if we did away with the entire immigration industry and stopped giving money to UN organizations.
It's actually doesn't cost as much as you'd think to take care of those who can't contribute, so long as you aren't blowing a shit ton of money on international goals and an expensive bureaucracy.
Communism didn't fail due to philosophy, it failed due to the administration.
The fact is that we could easily afford a basic income of $2000 a month for anyone out of work if it wasn't for the weight of our social service. More even, if we cut out all international spending.
A roof over your head, a used Hyundai Accent, and a meal in your belly should be the bare minimum for living in a country with resources likes ours.
We could provide all of that if our government would only smarten up.

Jesus Christ. Of all places, it had to be fucking Austria.
The country that gave us WWI, and WWII just took a terrorist attack.
I guess World War IV is in our future.
We'll all be reading Chapter 2: An encounter with a Viennese Muslim 25 years from now and no one will be happy about it.
Why did it have to be Austria?
Fuck's sake!

1
porkpiesfromarat 1 point ago +1 / -0

Absolutely, the entire system would be even more overwhelmed than it is already.
I don't know which dummy originally came up with the idea of "import immigrants to pay for the healthcare of the boomers" but whomever it was undoubtedly loathed his parents.
As it turns out, immigrants have parents, love them and that being able to help them when their health is failing is incredibly important to them.
Immigration is no solution to the problem of having a low birth rate.

Family reunification is a very popular stream with very low numbers admitted, and it's first-come first-served.
A smarter man than I would sell a program that uses bots to get people to the front-of-the-line when the website opens. I'm amazed that the scalpers haven't caught onto that demand.
People only want to move their parents here when their health is failing which makes it hard to get them into the country based on the amount allowed in alone.
Family reunification is a small percentage of the people that we bring in but that's the program that strongly motivates voters.
No one wants to hear about their parents' decline and death occurring on the other side of the planet where they couldn't visit them, comfort them or supervise their care.
