Since when did "the world is fucked" mean fuck up your own life? Shit, the world's not great but making the one life you actually have some control over worse is insane. Go for a run, bike ride etc. Then Have a beer or two but a case a day holy fuck. Probably was a heavy drinker beforehand this was an excuse that enabled the behavior. Poor impulse control made worse by stress.
Only ones who truly voted against it, not just a low calorie version. In the 4 federal elections I've voted in, I've never voted for what I wanted/felt was necessary, always strategic, and here we are at square one 16 years later same shitpile.
How obtuse people are, with the internet at their finger tips, to label ivermectin HORse DEWoRmER despite it being the closest thing to a wonder drug, with human compatibility in pill form. The koolaid is pretty strong these days.
Yeah, I can agree he was definitely in a different state of mind/mental faculties prior to intoxication, how he got to that point has me baffled. As well it'll be "reviewed" so who knows what the judge will do in the end. Past track record isn't great with the justice system though.
They said he couldn't tell that his actions were wrong... but he was released from treatment with a diagnosis and some testing, then missed appointments with no followup, resulted in him off his meds, self medicating with something that he... “... was aware that cannabis exacerbated his mental-health symptoms and made his hallucinations stronger and more compelling," Also in an earlier article from 2020... "The voices in my head were telling me I had to kill the Illuminati, which I did NOT want to do,' Yag told defence lawyer Andrea Urquhart.
Id say someone is partially accountable for the events leading to his actions. We all know mental health treatment needs an overhaul, add this case to the list.
Why did he not want to do something then did it anyway? This make me think he was aware he wasn't supposed to be doing what he did.
Did he know smoking cannabis was wrong or was he already high/hallucinating at that point?
Was it his mental illness that prevented him from seeing right or wrong or the weed plus the mental illness?
If it was known he can't tell right from wrong, why was he allowed to make and attend his own appointments without oversight or followup? I guess at that point he was only sick not an illuminati hitman...
Regardless of his crimes or hallucinations to them, he did need and will definitely now require some level of supervision with his mental health treatment. And thank goodness the mother and child are okay.
Hmmm knew there was something similar out there...
