They don't see a country with a history, culture, or people. They see a hustle to exploit. Somewhere to park their dirty money. Somewhere to scheme and steal and lie and cheat and take for all it has. They look at the native population not engaging in these activities and have nothing but contempt for it. Why are you not cheating on this exam? Why are you not lying about your qualifications to get this job? Why are you not falsifying your taxes? You are so stupid and naive. If you allow us to exploit you then you deserve to be exploited! If you are not scamming you deserve to be scammed!
Combine that with a government openly hostile to the native citizenry providing them with a never-ending supply of new laws, arguments, and resources (paid for with your tax dollars) to justify and support this behavior and you've got a recipe for disaster. But unlike you when the whole thing collapses the hustlers can just go home or move onto the next high-trust homogeneous society and start the hustle all over again.

First through bribery ("All the kids get a timbit and juicebox!") then trickery ("You have to get it for next month's field trip!") then fear ("You'll make everyone sick!") then finally anger and shaming ("His antivaxxer parents don't care about the rest of you he's going to spread diseases to the whole class!").
So this is nothing new. The state believes they own your children. It's up to you to prove them wrong.
They were Stage 1 of the Stage 4 cancer we now find ourselves infected with. They voted for the handouts and propaganda. They voted for more immigration and affirmative action. If not them then their children or their parents or their cousins or whoever else they brought over with them once they had a foothold in the country. Every job they took from a Canadian. Every seat they occupied in our schools. Every house they bought that a Canadian could no longer live in. You didn't notice because they were 2% of the country instead of the 40%+ they are today.
They had no problem when their child was the one taking a citizen's spot. They only speak out about it now because they are the ones losing out to the next wave of immigrants ready to take from them what they took from us.
Wearing a mask makes no difference. Wear a mask only if you want to. Children under 13 will not be required to wear a mask. Elderly people and people with medical issues will not be required to wear a mask. It's just been a never-ending series of lies.
The same politicians, companies, and individuals who championed "privacy and disability rights" are now demanding your vaccination records and telling you "Can't wear a mask? Guess you don't need groceries. You shouldn't in public if you're so fragile."
Just remember how many of you laughed at the "Bible Thumpers" when they told you demons were going to take over the western world if we turned our backs on God. You're not laughing anymore.
Talk to any "humble, hardworking, grateful" immigrant for more than a few minutes and the mask will slip.
