Well a large part of the issue is instead of using CERB to pay their bills shitheads spent it on TV's and other material goods while not paying their rent.
Of course there is also the issue of the government giving out money to large businesses but not requiring deferrals for payments on mortgages and car payments. Don't penalize people, just extend the length of their payments. It's not ideal but with the corporate welfare they threw around to massive multinational businesses and banking institutions that have huge reserves, you can't tell me that wasn't a viable option.

And if the argument is that "We need to attract more voters, he'll fulfill his earlier promises after winning", then you have a two fold issue. One he's a liar to the new voters he's chasing and those votes he takes this time won't be around next time because they won't believe him. Or two he's turning his back on the promises he made to try and court Liberal voters while ignoring the base.
