Can’t be real. Even without the transgender part his name is Preet and he’s 325 lbs at 5’4? When have you ever seen a short, morbidly obese Indian guy? They’re always beanpoles. May out on a few pounds in middle age but not 325. Funny account though

Forgot to add, public transit and taxis are different, but so far haven’t run into a private business that wanted customers to wear them. Sometimes they suggest it but specify that it’s a personal choice. Lots of happy kids playing outside without them, saw many at the zoo too, only see a few unlucky ones still made to wear them.

I’m in Calgary at the moment and no masks have been required in any stores at the malls I’ve been in since the mandate was lifted, although the very first day there were 9/10 people keeping them on because I think they weren’t sure about the private businesses thing. I’ve been all over the different malls and out on the dog/bike trails and you only see the odd single person out biking with a mask on in the heat for reasons I’ll never know. Cities are generally cucked but as far as that goes, as a Californian it’s pretty laid back in some areas with more of a cozy rednecky vibe, much more than you’d see in San Fran for instance. On the outskirts it feels like a big town. I can’t stand most cities, they feel like concrete prisons, but this one’s different. Hope this helps a little, I’ve only visited for about 3 months so far

I read something about them updating the ArriveCAN app to where you upload a picture of your vaccine card, but not sure if they implemented it yet

Yeah, I got a visit around day 8 in Calgary in May although my boyfriend didn’t get a visit when he flew back in October so they must have been spread too thin back then. The guy asks for ID and asks the same questions as they do on the phone, so you have fresh air, are there people with you, pretty redundant

The Sweetgrass/Coutts crossing in Montana/Alberta worked fine too. There is a free shuttle from the Great Falls airport all the way to it. Took a little longer as an American but the shuttle was full of Canadians doing the same thing. Border officer straight up asked why I didn’t just fly from Cali to Calgary and I just told him, can’t afford the quarantine hotel, and he was fine with it. Way better than flying, sadly

How the hell do you go from a happy, healthy 16 year old girl starring in a movie with a Hemsworth brother, to actually winning the love of the Hemsworth brother, then immediately divorce and pee on the ground like an animal? Wtf happened?

That and Pfizer would love people to stay alive and pay for a booster shot every year for the rest of their lives. Dead people can’t buy more drugs from them.

Hard?? Sorry I must’ve gotten it wrong then, this was permanently slimy, left a residue

Might wanna check the laws up there first but one strategy is to put this really slimy substance, used in plumbing, and paint it all over the signs. When they grab it, it gets on their hands and it’s just about impossible to wash off for days - harmless but disgusting. I got it on my clothes once and just had to throw them away.

Holy shit that is such a waste of you guys' time and money. Thanks for sharing, going to Calgary in a few days and at least know what to expect.

It’s ridiculous, my sister and SIL got Pfizer, BIL and brother got talked into it and picked J&J. How many booster shots will they get until they realize they don’t have to be scared of dying anymore? Are they going to feel like AIDS patients, like the only thing keeping them alive is medicine? Both could stand to lose 100 lbs and could’ve cut their risk basically down to nothing this past year, but over 12 months and no weight loss effort at all! Yet SIL wants me to get the shot to the point where my brother just lied to her and said I already did so she’d stop bringing it up.

It’s gonna be a learning experience for sure. Only bringing a light jacket, just gonna wing it

LOL yeah, he’s 30 but born in fall and had to repeat a few years, don’t judge!

Boyfriend but yeah, whenever we have kids they’d be half American, wouldn’t wanna raise them up there the way things are. It does seem a lot more like home than the other provinces so far, though, blue collar and all. Looking forward to experiencing it despite everything going on

They’re so lucky to have you! Would have loved to have a dad that cared, managed to avoid the carousel thankfully but still would have benefited from a good foundation.

I hear you, gotta see my guy though, it’s been months. Coming from California just to cross by land and avoid rape motel quarantine. Wish he’d come down here though, he’d be better off

It was hard to scroll far down on phone but I found this on Wikipedia:

“ On April 9, 2020, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sent a letter to the provincial and territorial premiers to consult about invoking the Emergencies Act due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada.[6] While consultation with the provinces is a required step before the act can be triggered, the Prime Minister's Office said there was no present plan to invoke it and that doing so remained a last resort.[7][8] On a conference call between Trudeau and the premiers later that day, the premiers communicated their unanimous opposition to invoking the act.”

Does this parliament emergency meeting count as consulting all the provinces? Would an emergency just be declared suddenly and then everything shut down that quick? Sorry just trying to stay calm, was gonna go to Calgary via Montana at the beginning of May and it’s so close.

There was a doctor in a video I saw, I need to find it, but he explained that since vitamin D is fat soluble it’s easier to be deficient in it if you’re overweight or obese. It’s also easier to be more deficient in it the darker your skin is, since white skin is more sensitive to sunlight, which is why white people get skin cancer so much easier. Even a lot of white people need vitamin d supplements or more sunlight, especially the further north they are. Basically most patients in serious condition tested either vitamin d insufficient or deficient, when people have enough vitamin D, he said they just don’t die from Covid, and they don’t suffer from the flu as much either.

Exactly. If an actual, devastating plague were to ever break out like the one that wiped out 30-50% of Europe's population, none of this would be happening because we would all genuinely be scrambling to survive and wouldn't have time to micromanage everyone else's existence. The most corrupt (i.e., wealthiest) politicians would escape to their private islands or walled properties and wouldn't be around to lecture everyone. Karens wouldn't be in public enforcing mask policies, either. Cops in England wouldn't have the confidence to get close enough to arrest people for violating quarantine wearing only a flimsy surgical mask. It's just an excuse to act the way they already wanted to act, like an obese person blaming you for making her stress eat when she already had her first rammed in the box of donuts in her lap.

Yeah it’s insane. Let’s say it was something serious like Ebola. Would they be cramming hundreds of people into a flying hallway and then shuffle them into motel rooms? Hard to imagine that happening

Benny's Breakfast Bar

Edit - not sure about the indoor dining, just know they're not closing down
