Even the people I know that have got it know that it's all bullshit. They just flat out say they want to be able to travel internationally and have no fear of the virus whatsoever. And that is the mentality of the majority of the population, willing to bend over and take it up the ass as long as it doesn't interfere with their convenience driven life.
Funny watching the child like minds of Reddit calling for the unvaccinated to be cast out of society, creating masses of hungry, angry people with nothing to lose and an axe to grind. No way that could ever backfire.
I laugh when people tell you to get vaccinated to prevent the hospitals from being overrun. The whole health care system is already barely hanging on. Buddy of mine works at a hospital in Kamloops and says it normally runs at 120% occupancy.
These pro vaccination people are sure silent when you mention Trudeau dug us into historic debt by giving people "free" money and not beefing up the health care system.

I always get a laugh reading the posts on Reddit talking about how the eight hour work day is just too much for a person to deal with and is inhumane (r/antiwork is a hilarious look at how distorted their comfy view of reality is). How soft and naïve these people are. They have no idea how good they have it. The other option is living in the wilderness and slowly starving to death as practically no modern person could survive in nature for any extended period of time. Or live in a shit hole country making peanuts and barely scraping by with no access to any of the medical treatments/entertainment/luxuries we take for granted.
Too many fat spoiled losers these days that have never worked a day in their life. They whinge about how hard modern life is and demand it all on a silver platter without lifting a finger for it.

The virus spread around the entire world in what? A few months? And now here we are almost two years later....you've come into contact with it already....everyone has.
Almost two years later and pretty much everyone is fine, minus the 26,000 people already on deaths door at nursing/care homes who died. That sounds like a lot until you put it into perspective that Canada has 36 million people and also that smoking kills around roughly the same amount of people as Covid did in this country EACH YEAR. Without the news you'd have no idea the "pandemic" was happening. People aren't exactly falling dead in the streets, they aren't even falling ill any more than normal.
I'm tired of hearing I need a vaccine or "suffer the wrath" of the coming 4th wave rapture that will smite down the unvaccinated. Pretty sure I had Covid already back in January of 2020 and it was just a flu with a lingering cough.
I highly doubt back in caveman times there were people that just sat around doing nothing. No work, no food. Still the same world as it's always been, just society has changed. People that think they can get something from nothing are out of touch with reality.

I worked with a Chinese guy and he said he liked it here because we have regulations that say we cannot just throw our garbage, oil, toxic waste etc into the streets, sewers, rivers etc. Nobody gives a shit about that stuff over there, or helps people injured on the streets in traffic accidents, or pulls over for ambulances, or cares that you can be whisked away by government officials for pretty much no reason and go missing......but hey, must be a great place!
Whatever happened to that guy? Did he get a settlement or did they make an example of him?

Masks killed the flu but didn't work on Covid...but also it stops it from spreading.
Everyone needs the vaccine but unvaccinated will spread it to the vaccinated....who are protected but not protected.
Flip flopping whenever it's convenient to pass the buck or spread lies.

Lost me at the end where it claims I still have to protect myself after getting the vaccine. Tell me, when have we ever told people to protect themselves after getting the flu shot or any other vaccine?
How can the flu be completely gone with masks and distancing? Why spend billions on annual flu shots? Why never ever once suggest we try wearing masks for a winter to eliminate the flu? Why is Covid spreading despite mask usage if it stopped the flu dead in its tracks? Wouldn't that mean that both Covid and the flu are still making it through the mask or do the masks stop droplets? It can't be both preventing transmission and somehow letting it spread at the same time.
There will be a lot of finger pointing and passing the buck if that happens.

And yet NOT ONCE was it ever a suggestion that we try to wear masks and distance to eliminate the flu. Instead they spent billions on research and vaccines for decades when (allegedly) all it took was wearing flimsy non-medical grade masks that clearly do not stop jack shit. Nope we were told we had to keep coming back for flu shots every year while the corporations that manufactured those made money.
How the fuck can a mask stop the flu virus but not Covid? A virus is incredibly small and can pass through the fibers of the mask. Oh sure they'll say that the mask stops respiratory droplets....OK....but Covid is still spreading somehow? "That's because it's more contagious" you'll immediately be told. So then I guess it's not getting stopped by the mask then....how can it not get through the mask but still be contagious and spread to people despite everyone wearing masks? This shit doesn't make any sense at all. Were they maskless until they had to get up for a piss at the bar during the Spanish flu? It's laughable that so many people can't see through this shit, worse is they can't seem to see the hook in the bait when it comes to vaccines and vaccine passports.
