Fair enough. There are people that do it a couple times per week, but it's expensive and time consuming. Couple times per month sure, but not every week.

Not sure how often you'd need to go into downtown Van, but it's it's a fairly rare occurrence (like once or twice a month), have you thought of living somewhere on the Island? Not dirt cheap by any stretch, but cheaper than the Lower Mainland.

Our gov't leaders and bureaucrats are fucking deranged. 64 total covid-positive hospitalizations in a province with 32,000 hospital beds and a total population of 15 million people.

No way in hell this is about a stupid virus.

Melbourne-style police state incoming.

fortisetliber 7 points ago +7 / -0

What's the real percentage? 25% seems low, despite all the masked sheep. I think a lot of people go along with the face diapers despite knowing it's bullshit because they don't want to lose their job or get in trouble. If we all stopped obeying this superstitious law one day they would be powerless.

Message to Justine and Co: stop with the half measures and outlaw murder already!

Some other tweets suggesting it's a police aircraft. I would have written this off as a hoax a year ago; welcome to 2020.

Not smart for a city where American tourism is a huge cash cow. Plus this guy was actually Canadian and was visiting to help look after a grandchild.

Victoria was nice, but lefty politics have turned it into another left coast shithole. Really makes me sad as I used to love it there.

I legitimately can't tell reality from satire anymore. Those morons at CERN must have created a parallel universe in 2012, and we're all stuck in it.

Saw this yesterday; was shocked that even mildly hopeful information about HCQ made it past the thought police.

The fake news has been telegraphing a fall "second wave" for months, and surprise, surprise, the fall casedemic is pulling into the station right on schedule despite our advanced mask forcefields and aisle arrow decals at grocery stores.

So yes, they're planning something, and I have no doubt that Justine and the libs' new BFF Dougie will be in on the hijinks.

Man she effed up by coming to live in such a horrible country. What was she thinking?

fortisetliber 9 points ago +9 / -0

Doug and his gang of petty tyrants are already shifting the blame onto the people for a virus doing what a virus naturally does.

Notice how no one talks about hospitalizations anymore? Also, why didn't everyone's mask forcefields prevent this?

Aussie style dictatorship incoming? I'm telling you guys, they won't think twice about cancelling Halloween and Christmas to demoralize people and having them begging for their Gates vaccine.

They've been engineering second waves everywhere with hypersensitive PCR tests that need 35 replication cycles (or more!) to discover trace fragments of viral DNA.

It's one giant effing con:

I've read that Ontario has approximately 32,000 hospital beds total across the province. MPP Randy Hillier said the same thing.

We've all been had.

Fair points, and I meant no disrespect to HM, just voicing frustration. We've all learnt how the crown can act as a constitutional fire extinguisher if the first minister/gov't oversteps their authority and infringes on the rights of the people; you would think having millions kept at home and prevented from worshipping God at church would qualify.

I wish the Queen provided a little bit more moral leadership in Current Year. I think she can do that without becoming "political" in terms of dictating policy. Calling out the rampant marxism and anti-Christian/anti-European forces in today's society would be a good place to start. Her first Christmas broadcast shows she's capable of it.

I also think the crown needs to take a more active role in safeguarding individual rights. It was hard to watch the monarch/GG/LG's stand aside while we were all under pseudo house arrest and kept from church. You would think that last point would bother the Queen, being "Defender of the Faith" and all.

Coming to a Canadian town near you...Christmas 2020.

3
fortisetliber 3 points ago +3 / -0

Watch the news from Melbourne for a sneak preview of our near future. My guess is they will pull the super, house arrest style lockdown around Christmas to demoralize everyone and have the NPC's begging for a vaccine.

fortisetliber 7 points ago +8 / -1

Don't care what Ford says now, I will never vote PC again. Never forget what the government and their unelected health bureaucrats did; how quickly our rights disappeared when it suited them.

Coming to Canada in Fall 2020?

Metrication - even the half-assed Canadian version of it - is yet another example of Libs trying to separate English Canadians from their culture.

Plus, Fahrenheit is superior when describing how humans perceive temperature (0 really cold, 70 comfortable, 100 really hot). Fahrenheit units are also smaller, providing greater precision.

Fair points. I'm using the term "Marxist" in the vernacular sense, inaccurate as that may be. Care to suggest a better adjective?

3
fortisetliber 3 points ago +3 / -0

Exactly. How are their home countries ever going to improve if anyone with half a brain leaves?
