There was also a lot of complacency on the part of Jews and Non-Jews who believed that the state was always right. The idea of individual rights and freedoms was not part of European culture at the time. One had to accept the state because the state was always right.
We are seeing this same complacency in Canadians who believe that taking the jab is good for you and the health of the nation. Therefore, the government is right in mandating the death juice. There is also a lot of media propaganda demonizing the unvaccinated the way the Jews were demonized in Germany. This makes it easier for people to just accept the violations when they occur. Never again, they like to say about the holocaust, as they gleefully and forcefully stick the needle in your arm.
Some of the liberals that I know are the classic type who are still running the old scripts from the 60s. They have no clue how far left things have moved to the point that they would be considered right wing.

One thing people need to understand is that this heated debate about vaccines has been going on before the pandemic. Leftists believe that you should be forced to be vaccinated for all sorts of ailments. While a mix of people, usually derided as anti-vaxxers, believe that vaccines carry risk and should therefore be an individual choice. This is an old debate driven by the hidden hand of pharma cash, but the pandemic has breathed new life into it. Leftists never let a good crisis go to waste. My position on this vaccine is clear, there is a risk involved of life-long or life-ending consequences when injecting the vaccine. This is a fact, not a conspiracy. So, if you're okay with that risk then go ahead and take it. If you're not okay, then do not take it. Simple as that. No group, political or religious, should get in the way of that freedom of choice.
According to some people, herd immunity is impossible because the virus has animal reservoir and the vaccine is leaky. Let's assume this virus is here to stay with us forever and plan accordingly without trampling on the rights and freedoms of the people in this country.
