The "96% of the hospitalized patient are unvaccinated" didn't come from the CDC, so I don't know what they have anything to do with it. It came from a group representing the hospitals in Florida.

And while the CDC made an error in reporting the Covid cases, the over 10,000 people which are currently hospitalized with Covid 19 is correct. This number is coming from the Florida Health Department. Even DeSantis acknowledged the rise of patients with Covid 19.

Dude, you can hover over the graphs and see how many of the current hospitalized patients are vaccinated or not.

And?

Only 75% of the people in Israel identify as Jewish. In Canada almost 70% identify as Christian.

You can scroll down and see the current data. How many people who are hospitalized right now are either vaccinated or not vaccinated.

Neither Canada or the US were ever Christian Ethnic states. And Israel isn't a Jewish Ethnic state either.

Counting people as unvaccinated for 13 days after receiving the shot is super misleading IMO.

It's not. Even the Pfizer, Moderna and other vaccine companies released data that shows that it takes about two weeks until the vaccine reaches "optimal" protection.

They should show unvaccinated. Between first shot and 13 days after second shot. And finally fully vaccinated.

They show it. Scroll down on the data Alberta releases and you can see how many days after the first or the second shot people got hospitalized or died. They don't hide as you say.

True. It's misleading to expand the timeline that far to a point were only a few people were vaccinated. It skews the whole statistic.

It would be better to look at the last 30 days. Hard to find data on it. I know for example that of the 10,000 people which are currently hospitalized in Florida over 96% were unvaccinated.

https://www.fox13news.com/news/half-of-florida-covid-19-hospitalizations-under-55-96-unvaccinated

Alberta provides similar numbers:

https://www.alberta.ca/stats/covid-19-alberta-statistics.htm#vaccine-outcomes

There are currently 77 people in non-ICU units with Covid 19 which are unvaccinated vs 14 who got a first dose and 15 who with two doses of the vaccine. And all 28 patients in the ICU due to Covid 19 are unvaccinated.

Also Ronald Reagan:

"Rather than putting up a fence, why don't we work out some recognition of our mutual problems, make it possible for them to come here legally with a work permit and then while they are working and earning here, they pay taxes here. And when they wanna go back, they go back and they can cross. And open the border both ways ..."

And they weren't talking about Global Warming, because back in 1972 it wasn't a theory. That warning was about the pollution of air and water.

I'm getting the sense that in this context "grassroots Canadians" means "Canadians who agree with us".

It was a poll on their website, so yeah ...

Quebec doesn't lose much. Mining operations pay barely any taxes.

They make more profit by upping the price of electricity when they sell it to the Americans.

Electricity in Quebec is extremely cheap and the climate is cold. The cheapest rate is 6 cents per kWh. 6 Canadian cents. That's less than 5 US cents. You don't get that anywhere in the US for example.

You don't build a business with 10 rigs. You build a business with thousands and thousands of rigs. They are not in for just $200k. They want millions.

And you don't have to believe me, just read the article.

They are "a slow and steady process" compared to hundreds of millions of cars and thousands of coal power plants all over the planet.

Also Quebec would have a hard time enforcing

It doesn't have a hard time. For a successful and profitable mining operation you need a significant number of rigs and they need a significant amount of electricity. Something you can't get as a resident. You need a business for that and thus you need to tell the government what your business does. That's why the current crypto mining companies in Quebec aren't expanding.

Pastors arrested for holding service -> I sleep.

Vaccine passports being implemented left and right -> Don't care.

Legalizing drugs so that gay men can have more sex -> Drunk Alberta wine mommy has your back.

Absolute state of Conservatism in Canada.

Which would come up and burn sooner or later anyway by natural cause, unfiltered.

It would be a slow and steady progress in this case. Currently it's the opposite.

If it get's too expensive, the miners will move anyway.

Alberta will do the same thing as Quebec (where electricity is even cheaper). They will put on restrictions on crypto mining.

More or less. You can drive to Roxham Road and take a look yourself.

It's a bad season, though these bad season are getting more and more common.

Also, it's not population increase in California that is putting strain onto the water supply. Agriculture in California uses more than 80% of the water supply and if you look at the overall water usage in California, it's the same as in 1960 despite the population almost tripling.

It's the lack of snow fall in the Sierras which is causing it.
